Who Are We?

PostgreSQL is one of the most popular open source database systems in our field. Every day, companies are looking to transition to this powerful, free directory to improve their data management and scale their business. This tool is not only safe but an efficient way to robustly store your data.

However, one of the main problems with PostgreSQL and most other SQL based databases is their ease of use, visualization, and ability to quickly test queries. Tools do exist that attempt to solve these issues, but most are very slow to use, and are not very user friendly. There aren’t many easy ways to test query commands without constantly taxing your database server.

That is where we come in.

Introducing PreQL, a PostgreSQL data visualization and data caching application that allows for a seamless fusion of UX emphasis while allowing efficient retrieval and graphing of SQL tables. JOIN options and SQL commands are native to our single page application and allow for users to create new tables based on application inputs.

We’re pulling all relevant data from URI, provided by the user, to a PostgreSQL database. PreQL caches this data and organizes it to display populated tables based on user commands given through an easy-to-use set of dropdowns. This requires little to no knowledge of SQL commands and allows for manipulation of tables without having to access the database multiple times. Generating your SQL queries will be effortless and simple thanks to our innovative application.

Frequently Asked Questions

The information provided from your database will be locally stored in state for as long as you are running the application. The second you close our app, the information is gone and you will have to enter the URI again in order to visualize your data again.

As of right now, we have nothing in place to translate NoSQL databases. However we have another project in the works to accomodate a multitude of different user needs. One of the features of this application will be to offer compatibility with NoSQL databases at the same level as our PreQL application.
